Jumpstart to Success Summer Academy informs incoming APS ninth-graders to high school

Incoming APS ninth-grade students were provided a weeklong preview of high school life during the district’s Jumpstart to Success Summer Academy held last week at all APS high schools. The students attended orientation classes that detailed the district’s themed small learning communities that are associated with all APS high schools. The purpose of the program is to prepare first-year high school students to begin the learning process on the first day of classes for the new school year on Aug. 9.
