Save the Date: Cleveland Avenue gets fundamental about reading, May 20

Communities In Schools of Atlanta is holding a huge Family Literacy Block Party in partnership with Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) and Pitney Bowes at Cleveland Avenue Elementary School at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 20. Communities In Schools of Atlanta is the largest Reading Is Fundamental partner in the state of Georgia, providing more than 6,500 young people with more than 22,000 new books each year. The Atlanta program is one of just three Reading Is Fundamental locations throughout the country selected for this special partnership with Pitney Bowes to promote family literacy.

The Family Literacy Block Party will engage the entire family in literacy with fun literacy-themed activity stations, free books and great food. They expect 300 students and their families to attend.
