Jazz legend Earl Klugh hits the right notes with Centennial Place Elementary music students

Legendary jazz guitarist Earl Klugh dropped by Kristen Faust’s music class at Centennial Place Elementary School on Dec. 3. The students were rehearsing and prepping for last Saturday evening’s performance at the Ferst Center for the Arts on the Georgia Tech campus.

Klugh seemed very impressed by the level of talent among the students. He previously collaborated with the North Atlanta High Jazz Ensemble last February. Like many artists, he does not hesitate to work with our youth to learn music. Centennial Place students highly anticipated his arrival to their school, as it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
