Atlanta’s students explore post-secondary possibilities during Westminster College Fair

More than 400 top-performing students and their chaperones from 20 APS high schools attended the Westminster College Fair this week. The event is the result of Westminster School and APS’ formal collaboration that is designed to broaden and expose top-performing students to highly selective colleges across the country.

Over 200 colleges and universities were present at the college fair. Students were engaged, asked questions and appreciated the breadth of colleges represented. Among them were last year’s representatives from New England Counselors of College Bridging Access to College (NECBAC), including Colby College, Connecticut College, Middlebury College, Bryant University, College of the Holy Cross, Emerson College, Simmons College, Wesleyan University, and others.

In addition, Ivy League colleges were eager to engage with APS students; representatives from Stanford, Harvard, Brown, Princeton and others were in attendance.
