More than 1,500 APS high school students will flock to the Atlanta City Fair at Atlanta Metropolitan College this morning to learn more about their post-secondary options. Representatives from more than 125 colleges will be in attendance for this fair, one of 69 statewide sponsored by the Georgia Education Articulation Committee’s Probe College Fair.
“I think it’s largely beneficial because it’s early in the school year and it gives students an opportunity to see a wide selection of college,” said Stephen Woodall, director for student outreach and access at Atlanta Metropolitan College. “By hosting this event, it gives us exposure to students looking for a good two-year college to start their education and get a bachelor’s degree. It’s good for us and for the students in terms of offering options.”
