Washington HS football players covered from hand to toe

Many, many thanks to Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White for helping provide new cleats and gloves for the Booker T. Washington High football team.

According to an item in the AJC, White is expected to deliver the gear to Washington on Tuesday. He’s also expected to deliver a little pep talk to players about the value of working hard and remaining committed to your goals. Washington’s not the only beneficiary of White’s kindness: James Island Charter High in Charleston, S.C. — White’s alma mater — also received new cleats and gloves.
