Marcus Caffey is our new hero. The Grady High School running back rushed for 164 yards, including a fourth-quarter touchdown, as Grady thumped Towers 34-12 on Friday night. That pushed the Knights record to 3-0 on the season. There’s a great re-cap of the game in Saturday’s AJC, including this part from their head coach:
For Grady coach Ronnie Millen, it was good to see his workhorse return to running the way he knows he can.
“Caffey was our go-to guy this year,” Millen said. “He’s finally gotten on track; he’s been sick and coming off injuries. He definitely is our main running back.”
