The Department of Instructional Technology is thrilled to announce the State of Georgia Student Technology Competition (GaSTC) winners. This year, Atlanta Public Schools had nine students who earned first, second, or third place in categories including Device Modification, Digital Photo Production, Graphic Design, Internet Applications, Audio Production, and Project Programming at the state competition.

The students prepared over the last month, refining their first-place District Technology & Innovation Competition projects. The State Technology Competition was held at the Academy for Advanced Studies in McDonough on Saturday, March 1st. The Georgia Educational Technology Consortium, Inc. sponsors the annual GaSTC. Students presented their technology projects either individually or as a team in one of 14 categories. Students in grades 3rd-12th participated from across the state and were judged on originality, clarity, documentation, and design.
A huge thank you to all APS staff, administrators, teachers, and families who supported our students’ participation in the 2025 Georgia Student Technology Competition.
We are so proud of all our student innovators!
