This is your invitation to get the latest news and information on Atlanta Public Schools’ achievements and initiatives at the next Superintendent’s Fireside Chat for SRT-2. The event is hosted by Superintendent Dr. Beverly L. Hall and will take place Tuesday, Feb. 23, beginning at 7 p.m. at John Wesley Dobbs Elementary School. The school is located at 2025 Jonesboro Road in Southeast Atlanta. This is your opportunity get important updates on your school system and to have your questions answered. Come out and get involved in your school system.

Atlanta Public Schools invites the community to come join the SRT-1 Fireside Chat with Superintendent Dr. Beverly L. Hall on Thursday, Jan. 14, at Perkerson Elementary School (2040 Brewer Blvd., SW, Atlanta GA 30315). Call 404-802-3950 for details.
Dr. Hall and APS officials will present information about initiatives in the areas of curriculum, staffing, training, technology, communications and policies, which are designed to improve student learning. More than 300 parents, community members and APS employees packed the gymnasium of Inman Middle School on Monday to hear Superintendent Dr. Beverly L. Hall’s report on SRT-3 schools. Atlanta Board of Education members Emmett D. Johnson, Cecily Harsch-Kinnane (vice chair), Brenda Muhammad and Mark Riley were present.
The superintendent talked about the district’s work to position students on their journey to college, and she answered questions on topics ranging from testing to school closures. In addition, Dr. Hall shared SRT-3’s academic highlights, some of which are listed below:Â
