Dunbar Elementary’s New Local Partnership

Dunbar Elementary School is partnering with Greater Mount Calvary Baptist Church for the 2013-14 school year. On August 1^st, Pastor Bishop Albert Lindsey visited the school with breakfast and gift baskets to announce their partnership and share a commitment to work with the school. They brought a table full of back-to-school supplies for the students, and offered to provide materials that students need throughout the school year.

“I think it’s wonderful because they are part of the community and not only are they going to support the students, but they’re here to support the teachers as well,” says Karen Brown-Collier, Principal at Dunbar Elementary. “I’m looking forward to a great year partnering with them in making our school stronger, and making the community stronger as well.”
