APS Students Connect with NASA’s International Space Station

Bejanae Kareem and her elementary students at Parkside Elementary School in Atlanta, Georgia will be participating in a radio communications link with the International Space Station on March 2, 2012.  Kareem is coordination a NASA week at her school that will lead up to the Amateur Radio on the International Space Station or ARISS contact.

Parkside will be the 2nd school, following CSK Young Women’s Leadership Academy, to make contact with the Space Station.
