by talkupaps

Cascade Elementary School’s Music Department held the “It’s Beginning to Look a lot Like the Holidays” performance Thursday morning for parents, faculty, students and staff.

Directed by music teacher Ann Thomas-Davis, students K-5 performed poems, skits and various songs including “Frosty the Snowman,” “The Holiday Season,” “Hope’s” the Thing,” “We are Lights” and “Seasons of Love.”  The program opened with a performance by the Cascade orchestra students directed by Spencer Brewer.

Other members of the holiday program committee were teachers Yolanda Everett, Courtney Spraggins and Karene Thompson. Cascade third-graders performed a poem called “Holiday Lights” and sang “We are Lights.” Cascade fifth-graders shared the traditions of the holiday seasons from Sweden, Mexico, Japan, United States and Australia followed by the song “Season of Love.”
